The hunky actor, 42, who play stripper Mike Lane, was seen performing a racy lapdance for 56-year-old Salma’s glamorous character, before the pair shared a passionate liplock in the film, due for release on February 10, 2023.

The hunk then performs a sizzling dance for Salma, throwing her leg over his shoulder and whipping his shirt off.

In voiceover Salma’s character says: ‘You came along and gave me this magical, unexpected moment that made me remember who I really was.’

Salma is seen blindfolding Channing  before the pair are seen lying in bed together – with the beauty saying: ‘Come with me to London, let’s go.’

As he arrives into the English capital, Mike says: ‘I’m going to put on a show at this famous theater’ with Salma’s character adding: ‘People are disconnected, we are going to wake them up with a wave of passion they’ve never felt before.’

Mike is seen auditioning dancers and proclaiming ‘hell yeah!’ as the routines get raunchier – while adding that ‘no-one has ever believed in me like your mom has’ to Salma’s character’s on-screen daughter.

Magic Mike is seen shirtless on stage as he performs a sultry, water-drenched routine with a lingerie-clad dancer, before he and Salma share their kiss.

Development on Magic Mike’s Last Dance was initially confirmed in November of last year.

The first Magic Mike movie, which was directed by Steven Soderbergh and starred performers such as Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello, premiered in 2012.

The film was met with much critical praise and performed well at the box office.

A sequel, entitled Magic Mike XXL, was subsequently released to the public in 2015.

The movie received a generally positive critical response and was also a hit with audiences.

A television series, Finding Magic Mike, debuted last year and was followed up by the Magic Mike Live show, which premiered in Las Vegas.

Soderbergh subsequently spoke to Deadline and told the media outlet that watching the stage show inspired him to return to work on a third installment in the film series.

‘As soon as I saw what Channing, Reid, and the Magic Mike choreographic team did with the live show, I said, “We have to make another movie.” Mike Lane’s dream of connecting people through dance must be realized,’ he said.

Tatum also issued a statement to express his enthusiasm for the new project.

‘There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of Magic Mike with Steven, Greg, Reid, and the amazing people at HBO Max. The stripperverse will never be the same,’ he stated.

Thandiwe Newton was originally cast in an unspecified role, although she was later replaced by Hayek.

The Sun subsequently revealed that the actress had left the project following an alleged on-set fight with Tatum.

According to the media outlet, the former costars blew up over their views regarding Will Smith’s Oscars slap.

Sources stated that 11 days’ worth of scenes had to be reshot due to the actress’ abrupt departure from the project.

The lead actor was said to have returned to the United States following the altercation, and Newton’s role was soon recast.
