Last night saw an absolutely jam-packed Nintendo Direct stream, with dozens of games that are coming to Nintendo Switch through the first half of 2023 and beyond.
There was a lot to take in, but we’ve got a round-up of all the big announcements and trailers, from Pikmin 4’s gameplay reveal, to Dead Cells, Sea of Stars, a new Professor Layton, Metroid Prime Remastered, Game Boy games on Switch Online, and everything else leading up to the new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer.

Pikmin 4 gameplay reveals a cut dog companion and a July release date
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, Volume 3 adds Masha, a Lapidarist hero that can craft special accessories. There’s also Roguelite style challenges. Volume 4 promises a big story twist later this year.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central revealed for Nintendo Switch
Fashion Dreamer is a style and fashion influencing game coming to Switch this year.
Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC release date has been confirmed for 6th March 2023.
TRON: Identity, the narrative puzzle adventure from Bithell Games, will release in April 2023.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is being remastered by Capcom. Coming to Switch in summer 2023.
DECAPOLICE has been revealed, a detective RPG split between the real and virtual world. It’s coming to Switch in 2023.

Splatoon 3 first DLC expansion heads back to Inkopolis
Disney Illusion Island gets a new trailer, the fantastic looking side-scrolling platformer coming to Switch on 28th July.
Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass adds more Emblems, including Hector, Soren, Camilla, Chrom and Robin and Veronica, each with new abilities. You’ll have new missions to take on to recruit them, when Wave 3 launches. Wavee 4 promises the addition of a new story called Fell Xenologue.
Wave 2 is out today.
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, is the next game from Dontnod, coming first to Switch in June.
OCTOPATH TRAVELER II demo is out now, with 3 hours of playtime and saves carrying forward to the full game
We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie brings the classic We Love Katamari to Switch. It’s out on 2nd June, while Switch Online members get a game trial of Katamari Damacy Reroll.
Sea of Stars is a classic looking RPG adventure, sailing onto Switch on 29th August with a demo out now.
Omega Strikers is a free-to-play action sports game coming out on 27th April
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection combines the first three games in the series in this remaster, coming to Switch on 1st June 2023. Games can be bought in a bundle or separately on the Nintendo eShop.
