Someone else shared: “The entire movie is gonna be worth it for Jack Black’s Bowser.”

“Jack Black’s Bowser in this movie is likely gonna be the show-stealer, and honestly I’m all for it,” enthused a fifth user on social media.

And when they weren’t excited over Jack Black’s new role, others were seriously impressed over the animation behind Bowser’s appearance, going as far as saying that he looks like Black himself.

“I don’t know how they manage to capture Jack Black’s smile and put it onto Bowser,” asked one person on Twitter.

A second fan added: “How’d they get Bowser, a fictional animated turtle-like creature, to look so much like Jack Black?”

The actor made a recent appearance at New York Comic Con where he took part in a fan Q&A (while sitting on a throne).

While also being a film star, Black is also known for his musical talents and teased that Bowser will have a ‘musical side’.

Filmed and shared by Popsverse, he said: Well, you know, I did bring some of my heavy metal roots because – in a way – Bowser is kind of like a heavy metal rockstar. You know, a big, strong, and scary rock star. And I did a little bit of rocking.

“I think you’ll be surprised to see that Bowser has a musical side. I’m thinking after the movie comes out I’m taking it to Broadway, there might be a one-man show.”
