This tactical dark fantasy RPG developed by Adglobe and Binary Haze Interactive (ENDER LILY: Quietus of the Knights) is brought to life by industry luminaries such as Masayuki Horikawa – Known for his work on the Fire Emblem series as director and scenario/level designer, and for planning Kingdom Hearts III.
Here’s a bit about the story and what to expect from gameplay, courtesy of PR:
Hope is fading after the sudden appearance of the ruthless armies of Morts. Efficient and brutal, terrifying forces descend upon civilizations, leaving a trail of destruction in their nightly forays. As entire countries fall to Mort’s assault, the Ashhawk Brigade, a contingent of mercenaries who specialize in surprise tactics, band together to fight back against the invading Legions.
Lead the Ashhawk Brigade in tactical skirmishes across 3D maps. Use strategic moves by directing units across the battlefield before issuing commands to attack, defend, or deploy skills during each turn. Overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles by mastering stealth attacks for extra damage or powerful combos from multiple crew members.
Make sure every member of the brigade is ready for the challenges ahead by equipping the squad with powerful gear. Turn your hard-earned trophies into resources to create powerful weapons and armor. Upgrade your skills to unlock combat abilities that can turn a motley squad of misfits into daring champions.
Walk through Mort and uncover a gripping, mature story of wartime struggle. Witness vivid moments between the members of the brigade during fully voiced cutscenes (recorded in English and Japanese) as the fighters learn more about their allies and the world around them. Control the rise of the Ashhawk Brigade from obscurity to folk heroes as the members battle their dark past as a deadly and despised organization dubbed the Renegade Reapers.
It will also feature an all-star cast including Kyle McCarley, Allegra Clark, David Lodge and Lucien Dodge. These people participated in such series as 13 Guardians, Nier: Automata, dragon age, Persona 5, Final Fantasy XVEmblem of Fire and trails row.
